Questions people ask

Can I receive local currency?
Not yet. Money comes in as Bitcoin, USDT or USDC. Paying out is where the local currencies are.
When can I spend what arrives?
After a set number of confirmations, which depends on the chain. Lightning is effectively immediate.
What if it is sent on the wrong chain?
Each address only works for the chain it is issued for, so confirm the chain with the sender before they send. If it has already happened, reach out to our support team and we will help.
Is there a minimum?
1.00 USDT or 1.00 USDC, and 0.00001 BTC on-chain. Lightning has none. These are guidance for the sender rather than limits we enforce.
Does the sender need an account?
No. To them it is an ordinary transfer to a wallet address or a Lightning invoice.
Can I receive to Lightning addresses or LNURL?
Receiving is by on-chain address or Lightning invoice. Lightning addresses and LNURL are supported when you are sending.
