We are Gyvar, a payments company building a simpler way to move value between Bitcoin, stablecoins and local currencies.
Cross-border payments still break down at the last mile. Money can move globally in seconds, but getting it into a bank account or mobile money wallet in the currency someone actually uses can still be slow, fragmented and expensive.
Gyvar connects these two sides. People and organizations can hold Bitcoin or stablecoins, then pay recipients through local bank and mobile money rails. The recipient gets local currency, while Gyvar handles the settlement in between. Every payment is priced and itemised before you confirm it.
We are starting with African markets where mobile money, bank transfers and digital assets increasingly overlap. Today, Gyvar supports payouts in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon and Gambia, with more markets being added as they become fully operational.
Gyvar was founded by Gideon Kombian, a software and payments engineer with more than fifteen years of experience building financial and digital infrastructure.
