Why we start with local-currency payouts

Most platforms treat "global" as an inbound problem: let anyone, anywhere send money. That half is nearly solved. Bitcoin and stablecoins already cross borders in seconds, for cents. The half that stays broken is the last mile: settling that money into the account someone already keeps, in their own currency, this week.

The last mile is the whole product

For a fundraiser in Accra or Lagos, a balance they cannot spend is not really support. What counts is money in the account they already use: a local bank, or mobile money like MTN MoMo. If getting there means a confusing exchange, a wait, and fees they cannot see, the global part of "global fundraising" quietly falls apart at the end.

Plenty of tools stop at the balance. They are proud of how easily money comes in and go quiet about how hard it is to get out. We decided to build from the hard end.

So we built outbound first

Gyvar accepts Bitcoin and stablecoins, then lets organizers withdraw the way that already works where they live: a local bank transfer, mobile money, or a wallet if they would rather stay in digital money. Regulated partners handle the local settlement; we handle the campaign, the wallet, the ledger, and the orchestration between them.

Starting where the pain is sharpest

We are beginning with Ghana and Nigeria, and with the builders and communities who feel this most: people who can raise from the whole world but historically could not easily touch what they raised. Their pain is specific and present, which is exactly the kind of problem worth building for.

What this means for you

You should never have to think about the rail. Money comes in as digital money and leaves as your currency, with the fees shown before you confirm. Balances stay in the currency they arrived in, so nothing is converted behind your back, and you decide when and how the money leaves.

Accepting money globally was the easy half. Getting it home is the part that matters, so it is the part we started with.

Pay anyone, the borderless way.

Open an account, fund it with Bitcoin or stablecoins, and settle in local currency.
